She is still infection free!
She is now officially Heidi's daughter according to the Liberian Government!
The US Embassy still has some concerns that we are trying to work out.
Please keep praying that this will work out soon!
This is a picture of Gifty in the car after she was discharged from the hospital last Monday. We spent A LOT of time in the car this week and she was a trooper.

Deb, Could you do me a huge favor and ask Heidi if she has a blog she would be willing to share? I would really love to hear updates on Gifty in the future. Just an occasional, "growing like a weed", and "learning how to read now", type of thing over the next 10 years.
Or, if she would rather, she could E-mail me. I know this may be intrusive, but truly, God worked through Gifty to change the path of our lives and I would really love to keep updated on her life if I can.
